Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury on Friday stressed for implementing their election manifesto in the next five years, including rooting out corruption and ensuring good governance at every level of the government.

 “People have elected the government by casting their votes for the Awami League with some expectations. We’ll try our best to fulfill that,” he said. The land Minister said this while speaking at a reception accorded to him by Anwara and Karnaphuli upazila units Awami League held at Korean EPZ gate in the evening.

Karnaphuli Upazila Chairman Omar Faruk presided over the function while Shamsul Hoque Chowdhury MP, Mofizur Rahman, General Secretary of Chottagram south district Awami League, Awami League leaders Sayed Jamal, M A Malek and Haider Ali Roney, among others, addressed the function.
