An elderly woman was burned to death while warming herself with a bonfire at their courtyard of Rasulpur village in Sadullapur upazila on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Samattovan, 65, a resident of the village.

Quoting family members, Earshadul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sadullapur Police Station, said the woman along with her family members was warming themselves with the bonfire amid biting cold.
