Sylhet Sixers was apparently annoyed by the training facilities at the BUET ground yesterday, revealed a team member. Sixers were slated to complete their training session at the BUET ground but to everyone’s pleasant surprise they returned to the BCB academy premises as they found the ground not good enough to complete the training session.
It is learnt through the team sources that Warner was extremely annoyed with the proceedings and his body language after arriving at the SBNCS only reflected that his anger did not diminish one bit.
‘’It was not possible for us to do any practice there at BUET and so we returned back,’’ said a member of Sixers squad on request of not to be named.
‘’If our management had gone there previously and assessed the facilities then certainly we wouldn’t have gone there,’’ he added.
Lack of practice ground had always been a major issue for the franchises in the BPL as none of them had so far developed any practice ground for their exclusive use.
‘’We have to use the facilities in Mirpur as that is a quiet convenient for us,’’ said Victorians coach Mohammad Salahuddin.
