A three-day exhibition titled ‘East Coast Group Bangladesh International Salon 2018’ is coming to an end today at La Galerie of Alliance Française de Dhaka. Organised by Phoenix Photographic Society, the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition was held on Wednesday. Eminent photographer Sayeeda Khanam was present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition as the chief guest while eminent photographer Chanchal Mahmood also attended the event as the special guest.

Internationally recognised by the organisations like Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) and Photographic Society of America (PSA), ‘East Coast Group Bangladesh International Salon 2018’ is a photography contest organised by Phoenix Photographic Society.  The competition remained open for submissions till 22 November 2018 to photographers of all skill levels and backgrounds. The theme of this event was open.

World renowned photo organizations like, FIAP, PSA, GPU, ICS, FI and BPS have participated with their respective patronages. 100 award-winning images of 100 photographers are put on display the exhibition. Besides, a workshop on ‘Basic Photography’ conducted by eminent photographer Rafiqul Islam will be held today.
