Railway authorities in a special drive at Jamalpur railway station fined 134 passengers for travelling without tickets yesterday. Jamalpur Railway Station Master Zahurul Islam said a team, led by Assistant Commercial Officer Pronabesh Sarkar, conducted the raid at Brahmaputra Express and fined 34 passengers for travelling without tickets. The team realised Tk2500 from them. The same team also conducted raids in four local trains and realised Tk1500 from 100 passengers, who were traveling without tickets.
