‘Render services with sincerity’

Speakers at a discussion urged the diploma engineers to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty for successful implementation of the development programmes.

They termed the diploma engineers as a big resource of the country and if the resource were properly utilised, the cherished development of the nation could be achieved.

They came up with the observation while addressing a meeting of Bangabandhu Diploma Engineers Council (BDEC) held at the office conference hall of Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) here last night.

Fazley Hossain Badsha, MP, addressed the meeting as chief guest with BDEC local unit president Tazul Islam in the chair. IDEB district unit president Kabir Uddin, General Secretary, BDEC local unit vice-presidents Meraj Uddin and Aminul Haque, general secretary Moshiur Rahman, organizing secretary Abul Kalam Azad and joint-secretary Abdul Moin Porag also spoke. Lawmaker Badsha said there is no alternative to rendering services with utmost sincerity and honesty for making the nation happy, prosperous and self-reliant.

 “Diploma engineers have a vital role to play for making all the public level development activities transparent and appropriate, which is very important for the nation”, he said.

In the past, he said, people of the country had witnessed huge plundering of public money in the name of development works resulting deprivation of the people from benefits of the development works.
