Police held an elderly person on charges of spreading false and instigating information on social networking sites including facebook from Savar, on the outskirts of the capital. “We arrested one Kazi Kamruzzaman, 63, for spreading false and instigating information on the social networking sites, from Savar Police Station area around 6pm on December 16,” said an official of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC). They also seized four mobile phones, six SIM cards and one laptop from their possessions.
