Traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in their simultaneous drives on the city streets on Monday filed 3,322 cases against different modes of vehicles for traffic rule violation. It also realised around Taka 20.92 lakh as fine for traffic rule violation, said an official release. Of the total cases, 736 cases were lodged for driving on wrong sides, 73 for using hydraulic horn, eight for using hooter and beckon light and 15 others for using tinted glass. Police filed 1442 cases against motorcycles and seized 70 others for violation of the traffic rules.
