National Film Award winning actress Poppy, who has become regular again in the big screen’s work, is going to act in a few more new film films soon. Among her future films, she will be seen playing the central role in the film ‘The American Dream’, which will be directed by M Jasim Uddin. Through an opinion exchange programme at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation yesterday, Poppy revealed the news about working in the film. Poppy said about working in the film, “Mainly, the story of ‘The American Dream’ has made me interested in working for this film. There are many people in our country, who have dream to go to America; the story centring that particular dream will move forward in the film, where I will play as Badhan. I hope it will be a wonderful film.” The shooting of the film will begin soon, Poppy informed. Director M Jasim Uddin, who has also worked on the story, dialogue and screenplay of the film, informed that ‘The American Dream’ will mainly produced in English language and it will be dubbed into Bangla later on.
