Former Barcelona booter Gonzales Sanchez is going to join as the development coach of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) while he will sign a six month agreement on Monday.
BFF President Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin while talking to the reporters yesterday ensured that Gonzales will be appointed as the development coach who will work with the Under-19 team.
After a meeting with the BFF president at his (BFF president) office, Gonzales also told the reporters that he will tie with the BFF for six month to work as the development team (Under-19). Gonzales, who grown up at the Barcelona Academy at his early age (eight years old) and also played for the team’s B strings, despite had no any high profile coaching back ground but will be able to train the age group booters, as he said when he was talking to the reporters.
BFF president replying to a query said, “Six months is just one kind of provisional period, after that we will see whether he will
continue and he will also feel whether he will work with us.”
“After two or three months we will see the progress of the players and indeed friendly matches will be arranged in home and abroad, then we will understand how the things going on,” Salahuddin replied to a query.
Salahuddin also said that he will pick up players from Under-16 and a total of 21 players including three goalkeepers will be trained under Gonzales. BFF president replying to another query said that they have been looking for another coach for the academy.
