The reunion of Dhaka University (DU) Bangla Alumni will be held at Teacher-Student Centre on the campus today, reports BSS. Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the reunion as the chief guest. Students of Bangla Department from 1955 to 59 Professor Sanjida Khatun, Professor Rafiqul Islam, Professor Anisuzzaman, Maizuddin Ahmed, Professor Nur-ul-Alam, Professor Cheman Ara, Professor Mohammad Abdul Awal, Professor Mahmud Shah Koreshi, Professor Mamtaz-uddin Ahmed, Professor Sawkat Ali, Professor Mahmuda Khatun, Professor Razia Sultana and Professor Muhammad Sadek Ali will be given honour on the occasion. The alumni will reminisce their university days in the afternoon to be followed by a cultural function. Only Bangla Alumni members can join the programme.
