Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy yesterday termed BNP a ‘terrorist organisation’ and claimed it has already resorted to violence. The comment appeared on his Facebook page last night. “The election process has barely started and the BNP has already resorted to violence. Just as they burned civilians alive in their arson attacks during 2013 and 2015,” he wrote. He also said that courts in Canada had already ruled that BNP is a terrorist party. They should all be sent to prison for their offences, he further added. Joy came up with the status  over the Wednesday clash between police and BNP activists at Nayapaltan in the capital. The clash led to a furious situation in  Nayapaltan as 40 people, including 20 policemen, were injured and several vehicles torched.
