Customs intelligence personnel on Tuesday seized 900 pieces of cloud mobile phone sets worth about Taka 3.70 crore from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city.

“We seized two bags containing 900 pieces of cloud mobile phone sets from Air Freight area of the airport around on Tuesday,” director general (DG) of customs intelligence Dr Sahidul Islam told BSS yesterday. The estimated value of the seized mobile phone sets is Taka 3.70 crore, he said, adding that the sets were brought to Dhaka from Bangkok by a flight (TG-339). Legal action was taken to this end.
