Bangladesh will begin their training camp ahead of the ensuing home series against Zimbabwe at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur today.
All the cricketers of the 15-member final squad will be present in the camp that will be ended on October 20.
The National Cricket League (NCL) will resume with the third round at different venues of the country at the same day. For this, the national players will miss for the next two rounds of the league.
The three-match one-day international series against Zimbabwe will be staged in Dhaka and Chattogram on October 21, 24 and 26 respectively. During the period, the fourth-round of the NCL will roll onto the ground from October 22-25.
Some players of the squad are individually practicing before the outset of the training camp. They are Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mohammad Mithun, Mohammad Saifuddin, Imrul Kayes and Rubel Hossain.
Fast-bowling coach Courtney Walsh among the coaching staffs was seen in Mirpur before the camp but the BCB expects that all the coaching staffs will join the team’s training session from the initial day.
