After a hiatus of four years, National Film Award winning playback singer Andrew Kishore has lent his vocal to a new song titled ‘Buk Bhora Ki Shukh Jey Amar Chokhey’ under the music arrangement of talented music director Farid Ahmed’s once again.

Lyrics penned down by Mohammed Rafiquzzaman, the recording of the song took place in Resh Studio located at Eskaton in the capital on September 30.

DhakaLive has news that the song will be used in an upcoming film titled ‘Odhikar’ directed by Md Atiqur Rahman.

About his rendition, Andrew Kishore said, “As it is my profession to sing for the films, from that point of view, I can say that the song is really good. Farid Ahmed has done the work with lots of care. I am hopeful that the audience will like it.”

Farid Ahmed said, “We gave emphasis on the originality while working with the songs for the film ‘Odhikar’. I am very optimistic about the song rendered by Andrew Kishore.”

However, today is the birthday of Farid Ahmed and he has to spend busy time at work today, the musician informed DhakaLive.  

To note, Andrew Kishore sang last time for Nader Chowdhury-directed film ‘Lalchor’ under the music direction of Farid Ahmed.
