Close-circuit television cameras (CCTVs) will be installed at every highways and important roads for ensuring safety on roads to lessen the number of accidents, reports UNB. State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Mashiur Rahman Ranga said this while addressing a roundtable organised by Democracy International and Dhaka Tribune at FR Tower in the capital’s Panthapath area. Four transport companies will be formed primarily to reform transport system and check drivers' reckless driving in the capital as well, he said.
