The cover unveiling ceremony of ‘Dot’—a tri-monthly art and architecture magazine was held in Gardenia Hall in the city’s Gulshan area. Organised by publisher of ‘Dot’ and founder of Delvista Foundation Shazia Islam Antan, Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Anisul Haque was present as chief guest, while noted educationist Professor Anisuzzaman, Professor Dr. Abu Sayeed Ahmed, Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, architect Kazi Golam Nasir and artist Monirul Islam, among others, delivered speeches as special guests at the ceremony. The first part of the event titled ‘Akash Bhora Tara’ began with a dance performance by architect Sanzana Islam Munia and architect Sharmin Kabir, which was anchored by model-actress Aupee Karim. After the speech of Shazia Islam Antan, chief guest Anisul Haque, along with other invited guests, unveiled the cover of the magazine. A video documentary centring the thought behind the name of the magazine was also screened at that time. The editor of ‘Dot’ noted architect Mustafa Khalid Palash thanked the guests for their presence at the ceremony.  During the second part of the programme, after the dinner, a charming cultural show enthralled everyone at the event.
