The British government has invited applications from ambitious and academically strong young professionals with leadership potentials from Bangladesh for Chevening Scholarship, reports UNB. The application process for 2016-2017 will remain open until November 3, said British High Commission in Dhaka yesterday. Chevening is the UK government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers two types of award – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships - the recipients of which are personally selected by British Embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.
