Audience-admired actor Zahid Hassan and popular actress Runa Khan, who have worked together several times before, will be seen together again this Eid in a commercial-free tele-drama titled ‘Udhbhot’, directed by Nasir Alam. The shooting of the tele-drama has recently been completed yesterday at Pubail’s Hasna Hena shooting house.
Runa Khan spoke about working with Zahid Hassan again, “I have grown up watching eminent actors such as Zahid Hassan. Whenever I work with actors with such high status, I honestly feel excited and am also filled with pride. Just as Zahid Hassan has extraordinary qualities as a human being, as an artiste, he is simply fantastic and a major star. The story of ‘Udhbhot’ will definitely captivate the viewers.”
Zahid Hassan was also full of praise for his co-artiste, “Runa Khan is a girl of gentle nature and she is a very talented actress. She can properly fit herself in any type of role.”
Zahid Hassan and Runa Khan have appeared together in various tele-dramas, tele-films and drama serials.  They first worked together in 2008 in Zahid Hassan-directed drama serial ‘Channyachara’.
To note, for the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, Zahid Hassan-directed seven- episode drama serial ‘Keow Kotha Rakheni’ will be aired on Asian TV. In addition, he will also be appearing in ‘Pori’, directed by Arif, and six-episode Eid drama serial ‘Formalin Reaction’, directed by Masud Sejan which will be aired on Banglavision.
On another note, Runa Khan will be appearing in the tele-drama ‘Kobi Kusum Cactus’, directed by Barnanath which will be aired on BTV. In addition, she will be seen in the drama ‘Dewan Gazir Kissa’ which will be held today at Shilpakala Academy.
‘Udhbhot’ will be aired during Eid on GTV.
