Popular model-actress Sadia Jahan Prova will appear in an Eid special tele-drama titled ‘Boka Khoka’, directed by Shamim Zaman. Popular actors Mosharraf Karim, Shamim Zaman, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, among others, are also included in the tele-drama. The plot of the tele-drama evolves around the simple minded Khoka. His simplicity is often assumed as him being a dim-witted. That is why, he has been handed over the unflattering name of Boka Khoka. Khoka has a fondness for sweets, and that weakness is often manipulated as people exploit him for their work by promising him sweets. An individual named Fatik is one such individual who takes advantage of this. Promising sweets, he hands over a letter to Khoka to be delivered to Joba. That letter lands Khoka in a lot of trouble. Khoka is oblivious to the fact that Joba has feelings for him. But Fatik has intentions to marry her and he concocts many conspiracies to fulfill his agenda. He even entices Joba’s brother through greed, and for this greed, Joba’s brother puts a lot of pressure and injustice on Joba to marry Fatik. The climax of the story begins when Joba runs away with Khoka from the village to escape the troublesome situation.
‘Boka Khoka’ will be aired on the fifth day of Eid at 9:20 pm on RTV.
