A team of police arrested the prime accused in police killing case from a remote village in Alamdanga upazila of Chua-danga district on Wednesday. The arrested suspect- Anisur is a drug trader hailing from Balidapara village of Kushtia district. Akram Hossain, Officer-in-charge of Gangni police station, said a police constable of Pirtola police camp was killed by drug traffickers on July 25 last when he was a patrol duty at night. Pirtola police camp-in-charge Subir Kumar Anis and his associates went into hiding following filing a case in this connection. Acting on a tip-off, police Inspector (Investigation) Moktar Hossain of Gangni police station on Wednesday raided his relative’s house at village Kamalpur in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga district and nabbed him.
