Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts, along with IRC, is hosting a unique art exhibition titled ‘Unknown Faces and Others’ by artist Tamim Jalilur Rabbi.
Artist Tamim Jalilur Rabbi, an emerging Bangladeshi artist, has been living in France since last 5 years. He has completed his Bachelor and Masters’ degree from Faculty of Fine Art under the University of Dhaka. His journey to France was to attain higher degree in the field of art and to conquer the diverse world of art through various means of art entrepreneurship.
The exhibition showcases a number of 40 artworks in the walls of the Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts. Every artwork has a unique expression of the places where the artist lived in the city of
Paris. The artist intended to represent the places and his visuals through these remarkable artworks.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition held yesterday evening. Celebrated artist Shahabuddin Ahmed, renowned art critic Burhanuddin Khan Jahangir, sculptor Hamiduzzaman Khan and vice chancellor of Begum Rokeya University Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah were scheduled to present at the event as special guests.
The exhibition is open to all everyday from 10am to 8pm, till August 31.
