A court in Gazipur yesterday sentenced a man to death for killing his wife in South Auchpara area of Tongi in Gazipur. The convicted was identified as Anisur Rahman, son of Ansar Ali of North Krishnapur village in Dinajpur district. The Judge of Gazipur district and session judge court AKM Anamul Haque handed down the verdict. The court also fined him Tk 10,000 at the same time. n August 05 in 2015  According to the prosecution, Anisur Rahman lived in a rental  house in Auchpara area with his wife Moushomi Akter of Amlahar village in Panchaghar district.  He  hacked his wife over a family feud on August 5 in 2015 and tried to flee from the spot. But the locals caught him from the spot and handed him over to police.
