Bangladesh cricket team will return home from Florida by a flight of Emirates today after a lengthy tour to the West Indies and the United States of America (USA) without most of the senior key players.

The Dhaka-bound team is scheduled to land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:40am.

The senior players the likes of Test and T20 captain Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad along with one-day captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will not come with the team.

They all will vacation some more days in USA with family after their protracted tour in Caribbean Islands and the USA.

Of them, Tamim and Mushfiq are likely to come back home on Sunday or Tuesday. But Mashrafe back home on August 16. ODI captain went to America after the conclusion of the one-day international series, where he will spend some more days with his family.

Mahmudullah will go back to West Indies from America because he will play the upcoming edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which will kick off today (August 8). The all-rounder could play all the group phase matches for the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots before the start of the Asia Cup on September 15 in UAE. Shakib will fly to Saudia Arabia to perform Umrah Hajj after elapsing some more days with his family and then back home.
