The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Ministry yesterday laid emphasis on raising awareness of drugs and recruiting more manpower in the Directorate of Narcotics Control Department to make the anti-drug campaign a success, reports BSS. The decision was made at the 23th meeting at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its Chairman Tipu Munshi in the chair, said a press release. In the meeting, the committee underscored the need for recruiting RAB personnel in the vacant posts as soon as possible. The committee also recommended submission of money receipts earned from passport wings of 15 abroad missions, which manage foreign aid and support the implementation of the national development strategies through strengthening relationships with development partners, to the home ministry every month, the release said.
