Chattogram Custom House yesterday detained a consignment of cigarettes imported under false declaration worth Tk 50.91 lakh.

The Audit Investigation and Research (AIR) department of the Chattogram Custom acting on tip-off detained the huge consignment of cigarettes imported under false declaration, said Nur Uddin Milom, deputy commissioner of custom.
