Left-arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been included in the 15-member T20 squad after ODI series following his absence in the shocking two-Test series against the hosts West Indies.
The 22-year-old paceman had missed the last T20 series against Afghanistan when his toe injury forced his withdrawal from the Dehradun-bound Bangladesh squad for the three-match series, the fact that drew huge flaks from all the quarters.
Abul Hasan Raju was sent as backup bowler in place of him at the final moment of the team’s take-off for Uttarakhanda, the host venue of Afghanistan in India.
The opener of the T20 series will be played against the Caribbean side at the Warner Park in Basseterre, Saint Kitts on July 31.
Therefore, both West Indies and Bangladesh will travel to Florida to play the second and third fixtures of the T20 series to be held at the Lauderhill in Florida, USA on August 4 and 5 respectively.
