‘Ranga Shokal’, a regular morning show on Maasranga TV, has been airing from the inception of the TV channel on July 30 in 2011. Young anchor, playwright and screenplay writer Rumman Rashid Khan has got involved as an anchor with the show from July 27 in 2013. Today, Rumman completes five years of eventful journey with this popular show.

However, Rumman has met and heard stories from 1036 guests on the set of ‘Ranga Shokal’ till now, which he considers as one of the great opportunities of his life.

Rumman said, “The main concept of ‘Ranga Shokal’ came from Maasranga TV managing director Anjan Chowdhury. He provided the idea of beginning the day with the enlightened people those who are taking our country forward little by little. During this long journey, he has always been with ‘Ranga Shokal’ with his ingenuous advice and cooperation. Besides, an outstanding team works behind the show. Team ‘Ranga Shokal’ is very much capable of tackling any situation, whether it’s biting cold or it rains cats and dogs.”

‘Ranga Shokal’ is produced by Rokibul Alam Rusho and Jobayer Iqbal. Along with Rumman, the panel of anchors currently includes Kibria, Nandita, Saki, Labonno and Shampa and Jakaria from Pabna.

To note, apart from his association with ‘Ranga Shokal’, Rumman has been working as an assistant manager (creative-in-charge) in Maasranga TV since 2012.
