Miscreants hacked a local Awami League leader to death at Dubail in Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh yesterday night, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Mohar Uddin, vice-president of word-1 unit of Awami League under Niguari union and a resident of Makholkaldair in the upazila. Officer-in-charge of Pagla Police Station Chan Miah said the miscreants swooped on Mohar in the area around 8:30pm while he was returning home from Gayeshpur Bazar.
