Bangladesh national hockey team will play five practice matches in Korea against the hosts national side as a part of their Asian Games preparation.
An 18-member national hockey team, who just returned home from India after playing some practice matches ahead of the upcoming Asian Games, will leave Dhaka for Seoul on July 24.
The national team went to India with 18 players, where from three players – Hassan Jubaer Niloy, Deen Islam and Mahbub Hossain were given rest while Sohanur Rahman Shabuj, Arshad Hossain and Kamruzzaman Rana will replace them in Korea.
Meanwhile, the preliminary camp started with 40 players and step by step the squad was reduced to 24 and among them six players are on leave and 18 players are in the squad who are playing the preparation matches.
But after the team’s return home from Korea, the camp will be run with 24 players from August 3 before to leave for Jakarta with the squad.
