The launching ceremony of a book titled ‘In the Streets of Paris’ by Abu Sufian will be held today at Alliance Française de Dhaka in the capital’s Dhanmondi area. Professor Dr Syed Manzoorul Islam will attend the occasion as the chief guest, while writer and associate editor of Daily Prothom Alo Anisul Hoq, adviser of ATN Bangla television Nawajish Ali Khan, cultural counselor of Iran Cultural Center Seyed Mousa Hosseini and Dr Syed Rashidul Hasan, founder chairman of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Dhaka will be present as special guests.

Presided over by AFD Director Bruno Plasse, a brief discussion will be presented by poet and writer Mujtoba Ahmed Murshed. Through this travelogue ‘In the Streets of Paris’, Abu Sufian explores the beauty of Paris. This travelogue will make readers hungry for Paris, for cheese and wine, for art and culture, the natural beauty and for the kind of street life.
