Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested four persons along with stolen batteries used in mobile phone towers from the old from Gandaria area of the capital on Saturday. Md Mahbub Alam, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), said a team of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Ali Hossen, Monu, Shariful Islam Sentu and Belayet Hossain Babul in connection with stealing battery used in mobile phone tower. They also recovered 14 batteries from their possession.   During primary interrogation, they confessed that they have long been involved in stealing batteries of towers of different mobile companies, he said.
