A twelve-day solo painting exhibition titled ‘Ruposhi Bangla’ (The Beauteous Bengal) by artist Golam Mohammed will be inaugurated on Friday at La Galeria of Alliance Française de Dhaka (AFD) in Dhanmondi of the capital.

Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will attend the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest on the gallery premises on July 6. Eminent artist Professor Samarjit Roy Chowdhury will be present as guest of honour while whip of the Parliament Solaiman Haque Joarder will be present as a special guest at the event.   

‘Ruposhi Bangla’ is the third solo exhibition of artist Golam Mohammed, which will feature the artist’s recent works.

After the inauguration, the exhibition will remain open to all till July 17 and can be visited according to the following schedule: Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday (9am to12 noon and 5pm to 8pm) and closed on Sunday.
