Two dance organisations, Spandan and Pallavi Dance Centre are jointly arranging a dance event titled ‘Nritya Chhande Anande Asharsondhya’ today evening at the National Music and Dance Centre auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in Segun Bagicha of the capital.
President of ITI Bangladesh Centre Nasiruddin Yousuff, Sammilita Sangskritik Jote President Golam Kuddus, veteran dance artist Amanul Haque, Laila Hasan and Professor Abdus Selim, among others, will attend the programme as guests.
In the cultural segment, Berhampur Kalakshetra from India will perform ‘Ami Se Romoni’ based on dance-drama ‘Chitrangada’.
Besides, Bangladeshi dance troupe Spandan will perform a dance directed by Anik Bose, while Pallavi Dance Centre will perform group dance directed by Minu Haque, and Swapno Bikash Kala Kendra will perform under the direction of Moitri Sarkar.
