BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned home on Tuesday from London, reports UNB.
The BNP secretary general landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines around 6:20pm, said BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
Earlier on June 3, Fakhrul along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum went to Bangkok for medical treatment.
The BNP leader received treatment at Bumrungrad International Hospital there for various health complexities, including blockage in his internal carotid artery and cardiac problem.
His wife returned home from Bangkok on Thursday last while Fakhrul went to London on Sunday to meet party acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
