Training on library services and digital management held

A workshop on ‘Library Services and Digital Database Management’ was held on Wednesday at the IQAC conference hall of the Gono Bishwabidyalay under its Institutional Quality Assurance Cell, says a press release.

The university’s Vice-Chancellor (Acting) Prof Laila Parveen Banu was present as chief guest while special guest was Registrar Md Delower Hossain. Dr SM Zabed Ahmed, Professor, information Science & Library Management, University of Dhaka were present as resource persons.

Orientation programme held

An orientation programme for the freshers’ of Summer Trimester-2018 held at Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) on Wednesday, says a press release. Professor Emeritus Dr AK Azad Chowdhury, Former Chairman (State Minister), University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC), was the chief guest.

Prof Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Canadian University of Bangladesh, delivered welcome speech in the program while Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder and Chairman, Broad of Trustees, Canadian University of Bangladesh presided over the programme.  Dr Atiur Rahman, Professor Emeritus & Virtual Dean, School of Business and Honorary Adviser, Canadian University of Bangladesh, was the special guest.  

Prof MA Arafat, Chief Advisor to the Board of Trustees of Canadian University of Bangladesh and Brig Gen Md Asaduzzaman Subhani (Retd), Registrar, Canadian University of Bangladesh, were also present in the program.
