Two audience-admired faces of the small screen, Zakia Bari Mamo and SF Nayeem will be seen appearing in a tele-drama titled ‘Chandkonya’ tonight at 8:10pm on RTV. Written by Ahsan Habib Sokal, Sardar Rokon has directed the tele-drama. In the story of the tele-drama, Sheuli lost her father long time ago and her mother is also sick. Though numerous proposals for Sheuli’s marriage come often from different corners, the marriage finally does not take place due to her family condition. One day, her cousin Rahin informs over the phone that one of his friends from Dhaka will visit Sheuli’s home village and Rahin will arrive after two days.

Having heard that guests are coming to their house, they clean the house and take necessary preparation as much as possible. Besides, the villagers start visiting Sheuli’s house to see the guests from Dhaka.

Rahin’s friend Rifat arrives at Sheuli’s home with his friend Shanu. As her mother advised, putting on a veil, Sheuli comes in front of the guests and speaks to them in sign language. Shanu suddenly returns to Dhaka after receiving news about his mother’s illness. Rifat, who is a filmmaker, actually comes to Sheuli’s village for making a documentary. Now, he visits the village with Sheuli. The story moves forward from this point.
