Department of Television and Film Studies, University of Dhaka, organised an orientation programme of its masters 4th batch on September 3 at its department premises.
Over 100 students of the department including 30 students of the Masters 4th Batch were present at the occasion. Students Advisor of the department, Lecturer Riffat Ferdous gave the welcome speech to the new students, while Lecturer Habiba Rahman and Part Time Faculty Amit Mallik were present at the programme among others.
Students Advisor of the department, Lecturer Reffat Ferdous said, “It is our pleasure to welcome our masters 4th batch. I wish these students will be the next asset of the coming Television and Film industry.”
To mark the occasion, the students of the department including different batches of honours and masters organised a cultural programme including singing songs, dancing, recitation of poems and many more. The programme was inaugurated by cutting a cake.
It is a tradition of the department, while a new batch comes, the immediate previous batch give them a warm welcome through an orientation programme.
