National Film Award winning popular actress Dilara Hanif Purnima has begun working in various small screen projects on the occasion of upcoming Eid. The shooting of her telefilm titled ‘Roddurey Peyechi Tomar Nam’ started on Saturday, which is underway at a shooting house named ‘Nilanjana’ located in Uttara of the capital. Scripted and directed by Rajibul Islam Rajib, the telefilm will be aired on Channel i during the Eid.

In the telefilm, Purnima is playing the character of Nitu opposite actor Emon as Pavel while Raisul Islam Asad will appear as Nitu’s father.

About the story of the tele-drama, director Rajib said, “In course of circumstances, Pavel meets the wrong bride Nitu, whereas he was actually supposed to meet another girl. However, Pavel likes Nitu. On the other hand, Nitu does not want to associate with Pavel’s life for having some flaws on her face. Pavel’s impulsive persuasion and love win Nitu at the end.”

Purnima said, “I worked earlier in Rajibul Islam Rajib’s direction in a couple of projects and his stories are always good. Because of this, the work gets done with a cheerful mind and ease under his direction. Even though he will not make hurry for this telefilm for Eid; rather he will complete the job taking due time and making the artistes feel comfortable.”

Moreover, the actress will be seen in yet another telefilm and also a tele-drama on the occasion of Eid. The actress will begin the shooting for Abir Khan’s tele-drama soon after completing ‘Roddurey Peyechi Tomar Nam’. Currently, the actress is hosting the magazine show ‘Abong Purnima’ which is being aired regularly on RTV.
