MYMENSINGH: The development work of six rural roads have been progressing fast in Muktagacha upazila of the district, reports BSS.
Local Government Division, Ministry of LGRD & Co-operatives is implementing the project at a cost of over Taka 23 crore.
Upazila Engineer Ashit Baran told BSS that the roads undergoing development include - Muktagacha to Dapunia road, Khilgati bazar to the bank of Ayman river, Rambadrapur to Battebari road , BechuKhali to Simla and Kalibari to Chechua road.
Upazila Engineer Office sources said 50 percent work will be completed by the middle of May 2018 while the remaining work will be completed by June 2018.
After completion of the development work, over 50 thousand people of Kheruajanee, Basati and Ghoga unions will have access to better communication facilities and livelihood of the rural people will improve further, the sources added.
