NATORE: Police recovered the body of a youth from Singalal Beel area under Baraigram upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS.

The deceased was identified as Shantahar Sheikh Shanto, 23, son of  Mahammad Ali, a resident of Garmati village of the upazila.

Being informed, a team of police from Baraigram police station rushed to  the spot and recovered the body at about 12.30pm.

The body was later sent to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Shanto went out from home on Thursday night and did not return.

"We are looking into the matter", said Officer-in-Charge of Baraigram police station Shahriar Khan.
