A Dhaka court on Tuesday convicted a man and sentenced him to life term imprisonment for violating her five-year old student last year.

Convict Minhaz Uddin was also fined Tk2 lakh.
Judge Tanjina Ismail of the Fifth Special Tribunal for Prevention of Women and Children Repression passed the order in presence of the rapist teacher on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the prosecution, Minhajul violated a class I student at the school building on March 11, 2014.
Later, the victim’s father filed a case.
