Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, chairman of PHP Group, has been appointed honourary consul of Indonesia in Bangladesh, said a press statement.

HE Mrs Rina P Soemarna, ambassador of Indonesia to Dhaka, introduced Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman as honourary consul on Friday evening in a programme arranged by Indonesian Em-bassy at a hotel in the port city.

Sufi Mizanur Rahman is an industrialist. He is also associated with philanthropic and socio-cultural activities, the statement added.
