The seventh Index Under-10 School Mini Rugby competition will take begin tomorrow with an aim to produce rugby players from the tender age group.
The three days kids’ rugby will be held at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium with 11 teams will participate in the competition splitting into four groups.
Mousum Ali, general secretary of the Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BGF) detailed all in a press conference yesterday when he informed that the World Rugby Union and the Asian Rugby Union are happy with their round the years activities will assist the BGF with financial and technical support.
“An official of the World Rugby Union will visit Bangladesh when after the Asian Rugby Championship in Singapore in October, we will participate and will be included in the “Get into the Rugby” project and we will list 100 schools to train rugby under this project,” said Mousum.
