Selectors of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) submitted a 15-member squad of Bangladesh A team for the upcoming tour in India yesterday. Keeping the next series in mind, the team has been formed with the blend of national and rookie players. Chief selector Faruque Ahmed acknowledged the matter of the submission and said that they have tried to form a strong team for India tour.
“We’ve now a big size team, where many players are performing one day, Twenty20 and Test together. It is easily possible to make a team from there,” Faruque Ahmed said yesterday. “We’ve placed a 15-member team to the board. We could not talk with our head coach. We’ve thought about the next tours in South Africa and Zimbabwe. But India tour has abruptly appeared. So, we have been formed it within the short span of time,” Ahmed said.
