Barishal: The authorities of Barishal University (BU) suspended three of its students over allegedly ragging freshers.

The university came up with the decision at a syndicate meeting recently said Dr S M Imamul Haque, vice chancellor of BU.  

The suspended are Nusrat Jahan Sifa, Kalyan Haldar and Nazmul Hasan,  students of second year of Coastal Studies and Disaster Management department of the university, said Faisal Mahmud Rumi, deputy director of mass communication of BU.

The action was taken after reviewing the probe committee report.
