Thakurgaon: A private clinic was sealed off in Goalpara area of the Thakurgaon municipality on Tuesday for irregularities and fraudulent activities, reports UNB.

A mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Abdullah Al Mamun conducted a drive at Rahman Clinic and Diagnostic Centre and seized some documents as well as sealed off the operation theatre and pathology laboratory of the clinic.

There have been allegations that the owners of the clinic were involved in conducting clinical activities without any professional physicians and deceived people as well as provide fake documents.

The mobile court also fined Tk 5,000 to two ward boys and a manager of the clinic and asked to stop all activities of the clinic until further notice.
