Green Coconut Pudding

We know, pudding is usually made of milk and eggs. But many do not know that delicious pudding can also be made with green coconut water.

Yeah, it is possible and you can prepare yummy ‘daab’ pudding at home with green coconut water and available ingredients. You may offer this delicious item during the hot summer season.

Now, let me describe the recipe:

 

Ingredients

Coconut milk - 1 cup  

Green coconut water - 2 cups  

China grass, or agar agar - 10 grams

Water, as required

Sugar, to taste

Method

First, soak China grass (or agar agar) in boiled water, as required, for 10 minutes. Then mix well coconut milk, green coconut water, sugar and China grass (along with the hot water) in a bowl.

Now, put a pot on the stove and pour the mixture in. Then stir the liquid mix constantly, so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot. If the China grass does not dissolve completely after boiling once, then boil it again.

Now, slowly pour the mixture into a bowl or mould. Keep aside at room temperature, until the mixture turns cold. Then put it in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours, until set.

When your pudding of green coconut water is ready, cut it into small squares and serve.
