After a hiatus of two years, audience-admired actress Shamima Tusty has returned to directorial venture once again. And this time around, she has directed a telefilm titled ‘Palte Jaowa Ulto Din’ scripted by Matia Banu Shuku. The telefilm is scheduled to be aired on April 24 on Channel i.
Popular artistes Intekhab Dinar and Mousumi Hamid, along with Ahsanul Haque Minu, Sheli Ahsan, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Hindol and Raja, have starred in the telefilm.
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the telefilm was completed on April 13 in the capital.
Shamima Tusty said, “I want to thank Matia Banu Shuku for the wonderful script. It’s a completely comedy telefilm, and each and every artiste have done great in their respective roles. Though they have performed under my direction, still I consider myself as an apprentice director.”
“In the coming days, I want to utilise myself in direction following the footstep of prominent directors like Afsana Mimi, Shomi Kaiser and Mahfuz Ahmed. I want to make sure the artistes feel comfortable to work under my direction as they always feel comfortable with them. However, the artistes are happy working in ‘Palte Jaowa Ulto Din’”, she added.
Intekhab Dinar said, “Tusty tried her best to complete the telefilm cordially. We all have really enjoyed working in the telefilm.”
Mousumi Hamid said, “I really liked the script and we all have tried our best to perform well in the telefilm. Shamima Tusty also tried her best to make the telefilm beautifully. Overall, I am hopeful that the audience will enjoy the telefilm.”
To note, Shamima Tusty directed a tele-drama titled ‘Jabe Amar Shathe’ for the first time two years ago.
