From the most commercially successful film in the history of the country’s film industry titled ‘Beder Meye Josna’, the widely popular song ‘Beder Meye Josna Amay Kotha Diyechhe’ has been recomposed for the popular musical show ‘Wind of Change’ aired on Gaan Bangla TV.

National Film Award winning musician Kaushik Hossain Taposh has done the music composition of the song in a new manner. Veteran singer Andrew Kishore and young singer of the current generation Zinia Zafrin Luipa have lent their vocals to the song.

The song from the film ‘Beder Meye Josna’ was actually rendered by internationally-acclaimed singer Runa Laila and Andrew Kishore. Directed by Tozammel Haq Bakul, the film was released in 1989 and set a milestone in the industry. The song, lip- synced by once a super hit duo Ilias Kanchan and Anju Ghosh, earned huge popularity from the audience of all ages.

Now, after about 30 years, Andrew Kishore has again lent his vocal to the same song recomposed by Kaushik Hossain Taposh. The recording of the song was completed on the night of April 16 at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in the capital. The song of Andrew Kishore and Luipa will be aired in the season three of ‘Wind of Change’ soon.

To note, Kaushik Hossain Taposh is the music director and programme director of ‘Wind of Change’, while Farzana Munni is in the artistic direction of the musical show.
